Hotel Utano Kyoto features 10 guest rooms, all with private hot spring baths. The main building, constructed in the shoin-style, is accompanied by a sukiya-style annex, and a Spanish-inspired Western wing, all of which were built in the early Showa period. They have been renovated into comfortable modern accommodation facilities while retaining their original beauty and charm.
Guests can step back in time surrounded by historical beauty, all while enjoying the modern comforts in each room. Carefully designed baths feature waters from Kiyomizu Onsen, giving a rare full-body experience you will not find anywhere else.

All 10 guest rooms are equipped with private onsen baths that feature hot spring waters extracted from our group hotel's property. These baths are designed especially so guests can stretch out and relax, warming body and soul after busy days of travel.
